The Egg Drop Experiment

on Friday we have to do a egg drop
we had to figure out how to drop a egg 30 feet
and it not break
ninnie came up with the idea to put the egg in a sling and tie it in the box with ribbon so it would be in the middle of the box
i sewed the egg in some felt
then we added ribbon to the corners of the felt
we tied the ribbon around the box at its corners
we also put stuffing around the egg
mom climbed on top of the house and threw it up in the air
she did this 2 times
and when we opened it
it was not cracked

On Friday all of the first graders at Bannas school have to take their eggs to school they must be in a container less than 6 inches x 6 inches x 6 inches. The cable company in town is going to use their boom truck to drop them from 30 feet. The one that does not break and is the most creative in how it was done and how it is decorated will win. Keep your fingers crossed girls she is really excited about this.
